Find and Replace Text – Bulk Search & Replace Tool

Replace all occurrences of a word or phrase in your text with another.

Result will appear here after replacement.

A text replacement tool finds all occurrences of a specific word, phrase, or character sequence in a given text and replaces them with another. This operation is fundamental in text editing, content management, and data cleaning. The replacement can be case-sensitive (distinguishing between uppercase and lowercase letters) or case-insensitive. It can also be limited to whole words only, which prevents replacing parts of larger words (for example, replacing "cat" in "category" when "whole words only" is enabled). The tool uses a search algorithm that scans the entire text and performs substitutions in one pass. It is particularly useful for standardizing terminology, correcting common typos, updating product names, or preparing texts for publication. All replacements are shown instantly in the result area, and you can always reset to the default example.

  1. Enter or paste your text into the Your text text area.
  2. Type the word or phrase you want to find in the Find field.
  3. Type the replacement text in the Replace with field.
  4. Optionally check Case sensitive to match exact case, or Whole words only to avoid partial matches.
  5. Click Replace All to perform the substitution. The result appears in the box below.
  6. Click Reset to restore the default example text and settings.
